Mod_serverstat.php division by zero fix

( 3 Votes )I noticed in AWStats, someone came to our website looking for "mod_serverstat.php division by zero fix". This error was being displayed briefly (and unfortunately at the time particular pages were being first indexed) and was being caused by a Joomla! module that we had installed by the name of Serverstat.
Since someone out there appears to want to know how to fix it and because I've found a work around, I figured I'd share the information. This fix has worked on our site monitoring the Ventrilo server since the beginning.

( 4 Votes )I don’t know how many people are familiar with Google Image Labeler but it’s a phenomenal way to waste hours of your day and find out how very little you have in common with the rest of the world. BTW, it’s also the definition of “crowdsourcing” which is a buzzword I feel obligated to say because I operate a blog.

How to download php.ini

( 2 Votes )This may seem pretty noob to some people but I’ll post it anyway since I’ve been asked a few times.
There are a lot of tweaks for PHP that you can perform by placing a local copy of php.ini in the location of your scripts and modifying the necessary values. Modifying this file will let you increase the default upload size (2MB? No way.), script max execution time and, in general, make you look like a magician.
