Recently I stumbled upon one of what I consider to be one of the greatest resources for web developers on the interweb -- Tutsplus+. I just happened to come across it one day at work, doing a search for a photoshop technique/tutorial. It eventually led me to one of the tutorials posted on PSDtuts, where I immediately became engrossed in the website. Upon further investigation I found sister sites NETtuts and VECTORtuts. More sister sites exist such as AUDIOtuts, FLASHtuts, AEtuts (after effects) and more, but I primarily stick to the previously mentioned three.

( 4 Votes )Periodically, a customer that I deal with will suggest that they would like to expand globally and have their website translated to another language. TinyMCE would show up fine as their editor but anytime that they would try to open the related pages within the editor including help, they would receive an blank page with a javascript error and an unparsed javascript string in the title such as these with their corresponding pages:
Internet Explorer is the bane of my existence

Being a web developer I get to create dynamic content rich websites and I use various languages such as HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and good ole CSS. I strive to make them as web standard friendly as possible by complying to the current web standards. You'd think that'd be enough, but noooo. Web developers are struck with one of the biggest challenges when developing a website... Browsers! Unfortunately not all browsers adhere to web standards exactly the same, and some don't at all *cough* IE *cough cough*. Because of this we are often plagued with creating hacks to ensure that each browser displays the site as closely as possible as the others.
