I used to play that back in the day. It was good stuff. They can't legally say Mech can they? Doesn't Mechwarrior own the rights to that?

Who knows about the copyright, but isn't this the game that was initially online via AOL for awhile and then broke off on it's own? Was one of the first online games I used to play with my friend.

LOL! I was window shopping at best buy the other day and I saw Slingo for sale. I used to have AOL like 10 or 11 years ago (damn I feel old saying that) and I tore the hell out of some Slingo.

no, mechwarrior was based on battletech. it was the computer game made for the battletech fans.
as for the rights, i am not too sure, if anything whoever owns battletech now owns that word.

You can't call mechs "powered armor" just like tissues, whether kleenex, puffs, walmart, or whatever are still "kleenex."
