Just recently got an ASUS ATI Radeon 4890HD with 1GB GDDR5. I've not played much with the catalyst control center with overclocking, and have left it alone for the most part in default settings. Does anyone have any recommendations for overclocking or tweaking the card?
My previous card was a Radeon x1650 w/256MB GDDR3, so it was quite a leap as far as specs go, however I haven't noticed as large of a performance increase in EQ2 as I expected, but there was still a slight increase, allowing to me to turn on settings that are normally off. I have however noticed a performance increase in some of the FPS games I play, but I haven't turned the settings up too much on most of them, primarily just resolution increase.
