I know that Gnome already has up an article in regards to the processor battle between AMD and Intel, but for my next system, I'm looking at a completely new system. The whole shebang. I'm curious, what the readers of this forum think in regards to whats out there. I've not been doing a lot of reading in reference to the newer stuff that has been coming out for the past 2 years. I'm curious mostly as to where we are with video cards (specifically ATI and Nvidia, although if others have emerged then cool) where ram technology has gotten to, and sound card technology. The rest I've already established. Your input would be greatly appreciated, also, if you could link sites for what you're telling me that would be awesome too.
